Worth it and Safe online?

Hey everyone! I was a big fan of Call of Duty: Ghosts back in the Xbox 360 days and really miss all the moments I had playing it. I'm thinking about buying it again, but before spend $80 CAD, just want to make sure it's still active. Can you still find matches in normal online play, or is it better to join a private server? l'd love to hear from anyone who still plays or has checked recently!

The official servers on the PC port aren't safe, you may be vulnerable on the attacks from the cheaters / hackers that can put you in danger when you're not expecting this. For your safety - I'd advise you to play the game through Alterware that'll offer to you high security against cheaters and hackers, but also you'll have access to the features that the official servers can't give to you, like for example: Server list.

You have to download Alterware. You can do this from here: https://alterware.dev/ Keep in mind you'll have to buy the game first in order to use this launcher.

Yes, you have a server list for it, so you'll be able to decide on which server you want to play, but the amount of players is for now very small since not everyone knows about the Alterware tho.
