and 4 txaa then it looks better...
there is no high res texture pack. Some one is pulling your plonker.
What people don't see is that its a CoD, its an Arcade shooting game and it does that good, in fact mechanics for me were better than in the las 2 CoD's (noo runners and no nerfers the whole free weekend) and the graphics are not that bad either, really if you play it on a weak gpu/cpu then the game looks terrible.
Even with my gtx560se it looked fine on high and no AA @ 1080p
I'm pretty sure this is a trolling insult on the graphics, if it isn't... someone trolled you and you are pretty easy to troll it would appear.
Something about the latest COD update, breaking the configuration files.
Congratulations on your overuse of the word "trolled." LULZ I GOT TROLLED SO HARD *trollface* 5chan 4lyfe /bro!!!
:-/
There IS a high res texture pack download available for the PS4, so it's not unreasonable to think that the PC version might also have a similar download, especially after reading articles on credible gaming sites that claimed this COD would look best on PC over PS4. Also, supposedly you can play it in 4k too, but if the textures look lhis bad on 1080p, I can't even imagine 4K.
Then again, I've actually seen true 4K screenshots of COD and they look beautiful. Soooo... WTF?
Anyways, if you want to improve the graphics, there is no HD pack, but if you download more ram (You can go as high as 20GB before you need to pay and 20GB is more than enough for COD.) you will see an improvement in the graphics, and a huge reduction in load times.
Oh I read it, I was just afraid to believe you because I didn't want DumbSlash calling you a troll... or calling me easy to troll. I feel like she just heard the word at high school and she think it's the cool word of the week.
The PS4 version is the PS3 version with better textures, comparable to the PC version. It's not the PC version + better textures.
The PC version is the best of the three and if you think it looks bad, then you must be playing it with low settings.
Besides, if you expect a rug to look amazing... oh boy. This is not "Interior Decorator with the Rugs DLC".
Now, GTFO out my forums.
I'm playing with a GTX 660 Ti 2gb, 12gb ram, Quad core, and max settings on everything. As far as the game running smoothly, I have no issues. Only problem I have is the known audio issues, which I can only fix by putting a couple settings down to High instead of Extra.
In regards to the graphics, I can see why there is a war going on about whether it is awesome or if it's terrible. As far as the details in the guns, NPCs, background scenery, and the arm of the person you play as, the graphics are very nice. They put effort in the things you will see the most while playing.
HOWEVER, as I was running behind a disabled car and went prone, I look at the front wheel hub and can only describe it as something I'd see on PlayStation 1. I saw what looked like a gray smoothed decagon and that's about it. No detail in any way on the whole side of the car. When I look at bushes, leaves, or anything that would put real effort on the developers(they are expected to make a new game every f'n year), it was obviously ignored. I tried to take a print screen of it for purposes of this debate but when I used paste all I got was a black screen. Not sure why it didn't work.
Most will say "Why do I care about a car hub, or a carpet, or bushes?" I personally care about detail when popular titles such as COD expect $60 a pop, then $15 for DLCs. If you do the math, that's $150 cause I'm required by law apparently to purchase double everything for the love of my life. But we love the game, so I'm in no way talking trash about it. Me and my gf are loving Extinction, Squads, and the campaign. It's a fun game to dive into. But I'm not dumb enough to claim this game has amazing graphics.
Either way, I say yes the graphics are impressive, when you don't take the time to analyze anything.
There are glaring graphical inconsistencies that stand out to any patient gamer who doesn't mindlessly rush through every level. That's all I can assume gamers like PedalStool are doing. Yes I care about a rug, and screw him anyway for thinking he rules the forums because he has lower standards than me. Pshh.
I'm not asking for detailed individual threads, but I do expect something that doesn't look like you can build in Minecraft. It's like getting inside of a Bentley and finding beautiful woodgrain finish mixed with some ghetto shag carpet with bum s emen on it.
