As the title suggest I want to play extinction with a friend if it's just session with me and him am I still at risk?

Yes it is possible if you’re knowledgeable enough

But you’re not 100% wrong because this game is so dead, someone with the necessary skills wouldn’t be here using RCE on linux users

Hell this game is so dead no one would be using RCE in general unless if they saw this and wanted to prove me wrong

No you can’t
Not only because it is possible to set up the packets used to work with linux, but also because of Ricochet in the newer games which is not supported by Linux, making your “any call of duty game” a weak statement even if RCE wasn’t possible on Linux

The only thing you’re right about is that a skid won’t be able to RCE linux, but RCE is still possible on linux
