Game unplayable with keyboard and mouse

When both SP and MP start i find that the movement keys do not work and no matter how much i move the mouse the view wont change. Have found that a lot of people have this problem but no one seems to have found a solution. When I enable my 360 controller I can play but really want to play this game with mouse and keyboard, thats why i got it for pc and cos it was 50% off in steam sale.

Please if anyone knows a fix or where to find one help me out

P.S my rig has core i5 4440 and nvidia gtx 750 ti 2gb with 8 gb of ram running windows 8.1

huh? I don't get your problem.

cant play game with keyboard and mouse.

I cannot move or look around only jump and crouch and so on seem to work. cant move forward back or strafe. cant look around either no matter how much i move the mouse. really now do you understand ??

Only thing I can think of is setting the game's priority to normal in the task manager

Sorry. I guess try to play around with settings. Try another mouse, or another machine. You don't have to install it again. Just install steam and copy and paste the steamapps folder. But you do need an external hard drive.

eh? thats a first? thought most steam games get weird when you use ExHDD?

Ghosts SP doesn't work on an external drive and MP isn't quite right, especially its audio. I have a USB 3 external hard drive and installed it there first. After I moved it to my internal hard drive, everything was fine. I don't understand why a keyboard and mouse wont work with Ghosts. Does this problem only happen with Ghosts or can you run other games OK?

can run bf 4 titanfall and cs plus a lot more fine and smoothly. just this one is weird i would send a video of whats going on but you would literally think i was just standing still and not touching the mouse. it does work fine with a gamepad but i bought it for pc to use the keyboard and mouse...

That's really a strange problem seeing as how your other games are OK. I have a Logitech G19 gaming keyboard and a G700 mouse. They work great with Ghosts and with all my other games. I'm also on Windows 8.1 64bit. My rig is an i7-4770K CPU, 8GB RAM, plus a Radeon 4GB R9 290 video card.

This happens to me too, but also when i play with a 360 controller. I can't play at all.

I had similar problems,changing display mode from fullscreen to window borderless fixed for me.Maybe try that?

It's a problem with keybinds and input devices. Check you binds and then unplug all other input devices (ie controllers) and disable their use in game. Leaving it plugged in is probably making your game think you are using controller. Also stop any input emulators like 360ce or xpadder if you are using them.

Fruit Loops might wanna give that a shot and see if it works.
