Sound/audio problem in Call of Duty Ghosts
I just build a new PC For myself. i am having Sound/Audio Problems in Both Single-player and Multiplayer. what I am experiencing is in single-player I can hear the characters speak for a min and then nothing. I can see them talking but can't hear what they say. but every other sound the game makes I can hear. In multiplayer I can hear the menu music for a sec or 2 and then it dies. I can hear every other sound in multiplayer. on my Old computer I did not have this problem

New PC: Sound works Great in every other Game but not Ghosts.

New Computer: is a Intel i7 4771 1150 with EVGA GTX 760 mobo is MSI Z87 Xpower
Old Computer: is a AMD Phenom II X4 955 AM3 With radeon 5750 HD mobo EliteGroup A790GXM-AD3

If anyone know how to fix this let me know. My Steam is Tomcat16s. Thanks :)

how have you got your sound set up? stereo, 5.1, 7.1
try changing the audio settings.

What are you using for audio? I have a similar setup to yours, but with a 4GB Radeon R9 290 video card and I'm running Win 8.1. My audio card is a Sound Blaster Zx and I have no audio issues with Ghosts other than its choppy audio during cut scenes in Campaign mode.

When you say you switch to speakers, does that mean you have on board audio like Realtek or something similar? Have you tried visiting the Logitech forums here: http://forums.logitech.com/ for any possible issues with the USB headphones and Win 8.1? I have the Logitech G19 gaming keyboard and a G700 gaming mouse. Some of the Logitech software tends to be flaky. I use Logitech Gaming Software to set them both up. Logitech has had more than just a few issues in Win 8.1. I occasionally run into trouble with it and I have the latest version. A reboot always fixes it though.

One other thought, which is completely off the wall. Is Ghosts installed on an external drive by any chance? I installed mine on an external USB 3 drive and had all kinds of strange issues. Moving it to in internal hard drive fixed all of them.

my G35 works fine with ghosts on my Old computer and it too have Win 8.1 on it. i also have the Logitech G19 and Logitech G9x Gaming Mouse. i have already check logitech's forums didnt find any thing on my Issuse. but i will look again. no i do not have it on a external drive. had it installed on my E:/ drive witch is a HDD and now installing it on my C:/ drive Witch is a SSD
maybe having it on a diffrent drive might work.

Very interesting. Glad to hear it's resolved. When I moved Ghosts from my external drive to an internal HD, there was suddently all kinds of audio in the game which I'd never heard before. Also, Campaign mode did not work at all, which is what prompted me to try moving the game, and that fixed it.
