Which call of duty game should i get to play online.

Just wait for CODMW 2019. It comes out in a few weeks and will have full crossplay support.

All the other CODs have some players.. never a lot though. You can still play bots in practically all of them, either with full built in support, or using mods in the older games.

I believe COD4mw, CODWaW, CODMW2, and Black Ops all have decent communities.. not great, but enough that you'll find a server at least. I can't imagine you'll find any servers in CODGhosts or later.. people don't like these games as much
