I forgot my windows live ID info but my account has the game serial code linked to it? Help?

Pretty much the title, any idea how I can find the login info linked to the serial code?

Just to end the mystery, Creating a new account didn't work. the error message "ths product key has already been used for another account" popped up.

Not sure what else to try. Ah well, thanks guys =]

I guess I would just have to purchase it again which is cool, I will learn my lesson that way?

Dude, there's no point. He can't play the game properly without being logged in to GFWL and creating a new account does nothing because his game is already tied to another account.

Which kind of makes me wonder why you always have to input the damned serial every single time you install the game if it's ALREADY TIED TO YOUR ACCOUNT, but that's GFWL being needlessly stupid as always.

exactly because of that i thought its maybe not really tied but i tried it out with a other account and it doesnt work.

The serial is tied to your GFWL account, not Steam. Creating a new Steam account would only help in the sense that you could buy a new copy of the game for yourself (with a new GFWL serial).

Booooo I didnt know it was GFWL, now its just too risky to buy it even with the sale... At least capcom still exists so they could, in theory, patch it when GFWL shuts down in January, not worth the risk for me though.
