1.Go to Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features

2.uninstall Microsoft games for windows - LIVE Redistributable
and Microsoft games for windows marketplace

3.Head on over to http://www.xbox.com/en-gb/live/pc/downloadclient

4.Install Microsoft games for windows marketplace again

This should update Microsoft games for windows - LIVE Redistributable which should let the game load up and work properly

Not working for me. When I try to install new installer of Microsoft Windows Live, it says it can connect to the servers and nothing else happens.

It's pathetic how those companies don't care about their costumers and their products. I got everytinhg working on my PC, a lot of other games. All drivers updated as well. But I always have problems with Capcom games to play on my laptop. I hate this s****

I solved my issue downloading this dll and put it on game folder. Try it, it's safe.

select "create local profile" by scrolling on the GFWL menu when the game loads.

To play online, although no one seems to be playing, select LIVE on the game menu and log on to Microsoft`s website when the browser loads and then close the browser, I never tried with the browser kept loaded, the game takes a while before it requires the product code. Then it should load the MS account and can now select online matches.

This doesnt seem to require any sort of configuring of the internet either, unless options to do with windows update or similar where turned off maybe.

I found an offline version of the Microsoft Games for Windows Live installer on the MajorGeeks site.

Uninstalling both:

Microsoft Games for Windows - LIVE Redistributable
Microsoft Games for Windows Marketplace (I found the installer for this somewhere else but I don't think it's hard to find like the LIVE Redistributable).

Reinstalled the MSI from Major Geeks (the link for EXE is broken)

I can now get the game to load.
