SFxT Vers 2013 PC Version is (unofficially) out!

It's up similiar to the SFxT 1.06 PC version on Xbox's download servers, Vers 2013 is up on the same servers with a different file name. Now we wait for it to actually get deployed.

It works on Steam. I followed these instructions at Eventhubs to get it to work online:

i managed to get v2013 to run with online play:

1. backup these old files (VERY IMPORTANT)
SFTK.exe
SFTK.exe.cfg
SFTK.exe.cat

2. install the new patch
3. copy the backup files back into the game folder and overwrite the newer ones

PS: obviously you can play only with people that have the patch installed this way"

Where can I find those 'old files'? Sorry, new to PC gaming

They would be in Program Files (x86)>Steam>steamapps>common>Street Fighter X Tekken. Just the 3 SFTK grouped together towards the bottom.

I applied the above method so that I could play the with patch online. However, half-way through the match, the game just drops, telling me that the other player quit the battle. Any one else experiencing this?

Was it a random ranked match or a player match with someone with the patch applied?

I think it was a random ranked match. I would have thought I would only be able to play with players who have the patch installed. I think that's what the problem was.

Will Games for Windows live ask me to patch it later if I pathc it manually myself now?

No, you will have to run Steam's verification check to revert to the older 1.06 files.

Not that I know of yet. I can put it up but I need a provider that supports 800+ mb uploads or I can put it on a torrent.

Depositfiles has a 10gig filesize limit. It's slow, but reliable
