Doubt it. A lot of these capcom games had similar depot names of randomized generated-text like via SteamDB.
However a lot of these were never updated, the ones that did was pretty small updates. (E.g a quick import of steam_api64.dll) to the main executable to make piracy harder (it doesnt)
Some of them added new type of drm called enigma. SF5 removed it's customized DRM.
Nowadays its the GFWL games that mostly get these updates on the old games. RE:ORC had one yesterday, so i think they are for real about doing something about GFWL titles
SF4 isn't getting branch updates for almost a year, which makes it a possibility that they thought its a waste of effort since they already sell USF4 which uses steamworks and is up to date.
Older versions of games such as dmc4 & 3 were delisted recently so it makes sense they may have dropped OG SF4 from being updated.
What approach they are using no one knows.
Just hope it isn't just a import of a modified xlive.dll to the executable and calling it a day. (That means its just using gfwl bypass and no online, no steamworks features, etc)
