The first DVD has 7.61 of game data on it
The 2nd DVD has 7.61 of game data on it
The 3rd DVD has 5.79 of game data on it
do they really expect you to download it when you are given the full game on DVD?
Plus as I said earlier the first time I tried to install it used the 1 DVD, then the second time it got through the 2nd DVD then fails when i try the 3rd.
First post says I dont have enough data to download it..
Steam wants to connect to the internet to begin the install.
No, you don't:
Minimum:
OS:32-bit: Vista, Win 7, Win 8
Processor:Intel Core 2 Duo, 2.4 GHz / AMD Athlon X2, 2.8 GHz
Memory:2 GB RAM
Graphics:NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS / AMD Radeon HD 3850 or better with 512 MB of VRAM
DirectX®:9.0c
Hard Drive Space:20 GB
Other Requirements:Broadband Internet connection
Additional Notes:Windows XP and DirectX® 9.0b and below not supported
As for a solution I dont think there is one. Seen others with this issue and they just eneded up having to download the rest of the game.
My guess Is that he Is tethering from a phone, My phone has a limit of *I think* 500mb a month and thats why I never use It, If he Isn't, what the hell Is he doing getting a connection with data limits and/or throttling, It Is one of the worst types of business practice an ISP can conduct.
I will take it back for a refund. The product does not do as advertised, install and work.
It seem simple to me that if you buy a game with install media, it should work - I'm not playing for a digital download.

For activation only.
Goodluck with that, most retail stores I know that sell PC game discs won't take the game back, you would of had a shot If the seals weren't broken.
