Combo Multiplier expert troubles.
Anyone been able to successfully get the x15 multiplier in this combat training challenge? I'm finding it impossible to reach that objective in the combat training even if I avoid the hits that would reset it. If even one of the guy not stunned on the ground is a step or two away some how the split second delay from the last guy I hit to this guy resets the multpilier preventing me from getting past x8 multiplier. I dunno what I'm doing wrong here since I have no troubles in the story mode getting past a x8 multiplier (though in those cases I do have a lot more baddies around me usually).

Being defensive is the way to go.

Wait them to hit you and press Y. If both of them hit you in same time, double tap Y.

If they don't attack, use X to not lose the multiplier.

About knife later. Just hold Y + bottom direction.

I have been using the mouse for hitting and counter I don't use the keyboard for anything more than the movement and dodging (spacebar). Besides Y is way to far away from my hand unless I ignore the mouse at all which I can't since it moves my camera angle.

Also how does X help? On default keyboard settings it opens the detective mode and that is all.

Also no body in the Combat Training for Combo Multiplier Expert has a knife so disarms aren't necessary, and Y on default keyboard layout is for special combo disarms.

He's talking about the xbox controller.

Use beatdowns to get higher combos.

Eh anytime I do a beatdown I get knocked out of it by the other baddies in the group and if I can get one alone long enough It dies before I can reach the x15 I need and then the multiplier resets.

Also why the heck are people discussing things with the xbox controls as their reference on Steam? I thought Steam was a PC software for PC video games... O.o

You can use Game pads to play games built for consoles... I prefer using controller for these types of games

So finally got up to a x11 multiplier now but still falling short of the x15 needed to complete all 3 trophies in the Combat Training. Anyone have any tips? By the way I got this far by figuring out that a couple of batarangs thrown during things counted to the multiplier.

the mouse for hitting and counter

Being defensive is the way to go.

Wait them to hit you and press right click (counter). If two of them hit you in same time, double tap right click (counter).

If they don't attack, use left click (attack) to not lose the multiplier.

About knife later. Just hold right click (counter) + bottom direction.

Ok so seriously I still can not get the x15 portion of the Combo Multiplier Expert Combat Training Challenge (in the batcave/Challenge mode) finished. tried playing defensive and all that and my multipler still resets/breaks before I can ever get to x15 for one reason or another anyone able to give me some useful advice? I really seem to just suck at this unless i'm in a much largergroup than waht this thing throws at me.

Currently Mouse and keyboard is bugged, with regards to critical strikes which give you +2x on every hit with double damage. Controller players do not experience this problem.

Also as a side note if you evade (double tap space) and vault over enemies it does not reset your combo and you can continue as usual. You can vault endlessly over enemy after enemy and your combo will not reset.

Yeah I know about evade that's not so much my issue it's othre factors suchwhen a enemy is standing to far away for me to be able to do anything to hit them and keep my multiplier going. Interesting to know the bug and it makes me hope that is a factor of my problem.

Even if an enemy is standing far away, Batman should be able to leap quite the distance to get to them, as long as you have at least 3x combo.

That's called a redirect, by the way.

yeah I have seen him do the leap a few times before but it seems random when he will do it, because I can't get him get him to do it all the time. I'm nto even sure if there is something I do besides clicking that has made him do the leap attack when I have gotten him to do it.

If you have at least a 3x combo, just hit the strike (attack) button in the direction of the enemy, and Batman should leap towards them.
