Guide to New Online Players!
It is not really a guide how to play, but more a tactical teaching guide. I just want to say what I learned in this game so far, but I'll keep an open mind for suggestions.

The logical and obvious way to win in Batman Arkham Origins Multiplayer is certainly: Teamwork. Being a ''Rambo'' will only get you knocked down by a hero or killed by Elites. So, try to stay close of your teamate no matter what. They are there to cover your butt and you are there to cover their butts.

Elites

But careful. It doesn't mean to be sticken on them, because 3 Elites stick together is a good target for AoE attacks. Just have them in your gun sight everytimes to save them from heroes if they get in trouble. I understand if Heroes intimidation is low, it doesn't really affect the score, but you have a higher chance to win a fight if you are 3v3 than if you are 2v3 versus the other team.

There is priorities though. I'd prefer to be knocked down by a hero than be killed by an Elite if intimidation is low. It's good to check over, behind and under for heroes though, but be careful of Elites too.

Just like most games, defending has higher advantage than attacking. So defending a zone point with your teamates while you have 2 on 3 zones is obviously a good tactic. But in the other side, there is so many way to mess up a defensif team. The most common one is to have two Elites who stay hidden and keep pressure on them, while the other one go behind them like a ''splinter cell'' guy. Gadgets is also a good way to break a defense. Firefly and sploding balloon is very good and under-used.

But we gotta be careful, we need to learn to use them quick. Being too long on firefly is only a good thing for heroes. After one or two kill, it's probably better to suicide your firefly and change position closer to your team. About balloon, just use the fast buttom the most you can (RT) to travel quicker. So there is less chance for heroes to get you or the other team to destroy your balloon. Use slow buttom (LT) if you are about to hit a wall.

The other gadgets (exept nailgun and shockwave) are mainly defensive. Use them also in strategical spots.


Heroes

As I said for Elites, teamwork is crucial for heroes too. But being together everytimes might not be a good thing. You must keep pressure on them. If one hero play the bait, while the other one sneak behind them and kill them as a real ''Sam Fisher'', well, that's a good tactic.

Again, gadgets are under-used as Heroes too. Robin shield, disrupter, batarangs, etc.. they might all be helpful sooner or later.

Specially Disrupter on zones controls. It does 3 good things if you place them constantly.
First. It disturb Elites visions and if they had it activated, they must reload it before re-use.
Second. It slow down the game, so it gives more chance for you to win.
Thrid. It gives 400 xp.
It doesn't mean to place Disrupter while the whole game. Fix your priorities if you want to win. Also, it's obviously not a good idea to suicide for a Disrupter. Wait when the zone control is totaly empty.

Best way to win as Hero, is to be sneaky and aim captain most possible. Do not suicide for him though. Be patient and hit at the right moment, it's the key to success.
