stuck in royal hotel overview bar

hey guys
i am in the last room of the royal hotel, the so called overview bar to collect the riddler trophies. but i can't get out anymore. the door is locked, so i can't jump out of the room and when i go back to the roller coaster room, batman refuses to jump down. any ideas, how i can get out of the hotel? restarting game doesnt help, i am still in this stupid room. thank you for help.

make a u-turn to go back down... thats the only way... i tried that as well and found that going back to way i came from is the only way...

Hi, Mr.2k9, thanks for your answer. The problem is : I can't go back the way I came. I can't go down to the Joker fun fair and out. As soon as I jump from the ledge, Batman automatically grapples back up, like when you jump into water for example. So, can't get down, can't get past the last door : stuck... I'm amazed you actually managed to go back that way !

Okay I've managed to go back down to the Joker fair and out. You can't just let yourself fall down or Batman will grapple back up to the 25th floor. You need to glide to the other side of the Joker fair, as horizontally as possible. Once on the ground (I landed on the rollercoaster tracks on the opposite side of the room), Batman starts to jump back in slowmotion (I thought *fail*), but you're too far and the automatic grappling doesn't happen. And that's done. I'm now on my way down again.
It's still a glitch though.

FFS I got all the way to this room and find out i have to go all the freaking way back to get out ... epic game design.

Wait till you get back to the part where you have to glide back down into the lobby where you took shocky-boy's gloves and you have to try to hit that one line of gliding that lets you back into the lobby. I did it ONE time, but on the next playthrough, I tried a dozen times and finally gave up...but I'm wondering if it's only possible once the Overview Bar has been completed, because the time I tried to do it right after I first grappled up there, it was impossible (in those 12 tries) so I just continued on with the story. So I haven't gotten back to collecting Enigma datapaks in this current playthrough.

I'm stuck at this point too, after collecting the data packs post-story. I can't figure out where I'm supposed to go in order to get back out of the Joker fair? I can see the balcony I entered from (in the top-right corner surrounded by outward-pointing spikes) and the door beyond, but can't get to it. If I glide towards it, Batman automatically grapples back. Is there somewhere else I'm supposed to go at ground level?

Typical. I spent AGES trying to figure this out, asked the question then immediately solved it! Glide to another balcony lower down, then grapple up a shaft.

I'd forgotten about that route, because I saved and quit the game while standing on the upper balcony, but for some reason was down in the fair when the game reloaded.

Use remote claw , and you can get to other opening (its right above the opening on opposite side)

head to the balcony that you activated the jack in the box from there retraice your steps the only problem is that once you get there you can't exit through the window that you entered in because the wind is to much to glide in

oh wait you didn't enter through a window head to the last door of the hallway and then exit using the maintinance shaft
