Worst Nightmare: 'Unseen' criteria - Can't unlock Sonic Batarang

I'm trying to advance in the Worst Nightmare tree, and for the Sonic Batarang, it requires a predator encounter where you remain unseen. I've gotten that criteria more than once, but am not unlocking the Sonic Batarang? Anyone else with this problem?

Same. Took down everyone ontop of the GCPD rooftop without beeing seen, got the achivement for finishing a predatory encounter with nothing but stealth takedowns, xp bonus even listed unseen in it but no unlock.

I just got it. It specifically has to be an 'encounter', so I believe that means during a story mission, while you're inside a building? I just got it by clearing a room full of enemies, inside during a part of a story mission.

Same! I am certain I completed a story mission and open world predator events without being seen- I specifically watched the score to confirm. Tier 3 remains locked! I am starting to get upset, becase I am now at the hotel mission and still no sonic batarang!

EDIT:
Finally got it during encouter in hotel lobby. I hope I can still get most of those in this playthrough. I would hate it, if at any point it became impossible to get rest of the upgrades.

It is intended for the building encounters during the story, however, the deck of "The Final Offer" counts as an encounter. I just did the challenge that requires you to not use detective vision there.

finally got this Worst Nightmare - unseen challenge, been trying get this done since game was launched, first joker conformation in merchant bank after cut scene in "predator room", here what i did - inverted takedown, window takedown and remaining thugs took out with silent takedowns, or maybe WB got their act together and patched this thing ... who knows, got 5 unused upgrade points already tnx to this screw up challange witch i cannot use yet to unlock new stuff, locked by story progress :)

I got the one for the "not using Detective Vision" by grapnel-boost attacking a solo sniper on a rooftop at Sionis, so it's possible outside as well.

same here. Im trying to get unseen challenge, with no luck, even i already did it once in the GCPD. It may unlocks in specific places

I thought i have to do it in Predator challenge... Ahh.. If I knew that it must be in story/free flow lol

no it doesn't, at least not for the rank 3, I just did last night the deck with the "unseen" in the score and nothing...

Rank 03 is Predator Room only.
Ranks 04 and 05 can be performed together Free-Roam.
None of these are achievable in Challange Maps. In game only.

You can only get it during the story. Great planning there from WB Montreal. According to the WB forums, the offical response so far has been:

"You can try and get them again in New Game Plus or I Am The Night."

As well as being great planners, they're also great and getting the point and dealing with customers.

If only there were some way for the developers to apply a small fix to either let us use the challenge rooms, or to respawn the story-based Predator areas! If only there were, like, a technology that let us download, like, updates to the game and stuff. Wouldn't that be great? (rolls eyes at shoddy game designers and thier friends in the patching department)

Well, I just did a full predator section in stealth, and even got the "Silent Knight" Steam achievement. No "Unseen," however. I was not seen at any point, what gives? Are the enemies supposed to never be alerted, even by the bodies of their comrades?

As long as you are unseen, the achievement should have popped. Where did you do this, free-roam or predator room? Which location?
