Difficulty Change During Campaign / Story
Anyone know of a way to reset the difficulty to another option once you have begun playing the story?

You can't null. Once you select your difficulty the only way to change it is if you started a new game and select a new difficulty.

Thanks for that Frillin!
Having a bit of trouble with Croc on the hardest difficulty. Gave up after attempt number 6 lol.

Yeah I would've recommended normal first so that you can get used to what will happen and so you can focus more on the story than a ridiculous challenge. I also heard that this is the hardest Arkham game on hard so I'm definitely going with normal first. And you're welcome. :)
Keep at it, Null. Same problem here, but I finally passed him by keeping him cape-stunned while I dealt with the thugs. On 'Hard', the bad guys definitely move faster and the counter window is smaller than in Arkham City.

You give up too easily. Here's a tip. Wait to dodge his attacks until you see a red symbol over his head. Also, ignore the normal enemies and put full focus on Croc, for when he tries to bite you the other enemies disappear.

I thought counters don't appear on hard/ng+ >?

You have to start over to change difficulty level.
Counters appear on Hard. They don't on NG+

I confirm. Annoyingly difficult and I just realized that there is not even an achievement for completing the game on hard, is there?

That would suck croc danglies if that were true. Srsly? That's not even right. You should get something for completing it on Hard difficulty.

Well I finally completed it on hard and got a simple Defeat the Joker achievement. It certainly was one hell of an experience but felt like an ach. was in order.
Guess i run through the main story in normal cos no way I kick off new game plus on hard.

Rip me, passed croc and everything but when you are on the penguin arms deal seems impossible to do. This thread is so old though lol.
More than a year after you I feel you, bro with the same problem! Did you beat them after all?
