For some reason the prompts to the part were he picks 2 shards of glass dont appear and i die every single time. The only time the prompt appear is when i die

I've read any of the following can work;

Lower your resolution,
Turn on detective mode,
Bring up the map then close it.

The thing i did was to lower resolution, not grapichs , only resolution to its minimun. Then it worked out just fine. I recall the same issue happened on some of dead space 2 and 3 QTEs,

No need to rage dexter, the thing is the FPS between the QTE and your computer, when you have a fast computer the procesor and video card read the event faster than its played, so you always fail because the computer already played the whole event while you waited the alloted time for it to be played.
Just try to reduce you resolution and graphics to a minimunm keep in mind that the FPS will be super fast so you need to be accurate on the prompts.

similar issue - a bit mad that this happens at this specific point. allows me to counter and beatdown twice but not a third time

I'm also stuck in the chapel, I could counter and then batman hits jocker twice without me touching any button and it waits for me to hit it third time. I can hit any button, enter detective mode, open map or lower the resolution and nothing happens.

I got gtx 670
FX 6300 @4ghz
10 gb ram

And i use vsync, anyway it worked normally a few days ago, this is bug created with latest patch...

am sorry to hear all you guys cant move past that bug, i had this bug over a month ago, if u guys check the thread creation date, the patch i had at the time was the one it fixed to tower not being accesible, it was a bugged vent entrance ,i think it was patch 2 .

Same. Lowered resolution and graphics , tried everything and can still only get 2 strikes in the beatdown and no more. Annoying
