I'm not fully sure, though since Arkam City was avaliable for mac it is a possibility that it will be to. And personally I'm hoping that it will be so that I can buy it on a steam sale prior to it being avaliable for mac.

I'm playing on a Mac. If yours is Intel based you can set up a BootCamp partition, load Windows 7 or 8, download the Windows upgrades and you're good to go.

What mac are you playing this on? My Macbook Pro 13" is intel based but my graphics card isn't all that impressive (Intel HD Graphics 4000, no discreet graphics card). Would I even be able to run this game if I partitioned it?

I don't see why not. Mine is a MacBook Pro with 17" screen. My NVIDIA GeForce drivers only go to 335 series (as of last update) so I can't run Shadowplay recording, LED Visualizer, or Game Streaming (require 600 series or higher drivers), but I don't use those functions anyway. I just want to play the game, not record it for posterity. At least not for now.

From the NVIDIA website you should be able to download the necessary drivers to play the game. That should also tell you if your notebook is compatible. If you do go this route, be sure to download all the recent Steam patches first before gameplay.
