Are deadshots goons supposed to respawn out of nowhere?
So I'm on Deadshot, I knock out every goon in the room, start to beat the snot out of deadshot and then I literally see knocked out goons slide towards where I was beating deadshot, stand up, and they all start shooting me. I've even tried tactics like knocking down all but two, disabling them, and beating deadshot before they can get to the gun container - and yet goons still either pop out of thin air or get back up. WTF? Is this supposed to happen?

NO! That's just freakin' creepy.

Kinda like last night when I was in the Gotham Merchants Bank, except earlier in the game against Black Mask (who was really somebody else) and I knocked the last goon in the room out..... and he stood right back up and rose toward me from the floor! Gave me the Creeps!! With a capital 'C'. It was during that slow-mo time after the fight was over and he came toward me and walked right through me with a weird disfigured gun in his hands.

Maybe the GMB is haunted!! :-O
Certainly has enough corpses to be haunted. I DID find out that when Deadshot is at half-health, more goons arrive. So I figured maybe that was my issue, but nope - I got him to Half-Health and his new goons arrived AND his old goons stood up again and formed their conga line of bullet death.

I've decided I'm gunna wait until a patch to bother trying to finish Deadshot off.
I didn't have that problem at all. However Deadshot is the hardest of all the villians to stop!
He seems to be the easiest for me. Just capestun, beatdown, repeat about 3 times, and he's down. Then, when he goes for the hostage, grapple up to a gargoyle and when the coast is clear, drop into an area and go into the floor grate near him. Then, spring out when the time is right and do a silent takedown. Easy as pie.

You can increase your chances of success by learning which end of the bank the goons spawn from and make sure you do the beatdowns on Deadshot at the other end so it takes them longer to get there. The 6 times I've done that section...they've only been able to jump me twice until I learned that trick. You can do the beatdowns quick enough usually to keep the goons from being an issue.

Well, I have no problem getting Deadshot down to half health without taking a single scratch using two beatdowns or a beat down and a ledge takedown. The ONLY reason I am having so much trouble is because they all respawn on me, and the new goons also surround me immediately. It's obviously some kind of glitch.
You're right, it's not supposed to do that, I don't think. I've played that section 6 times now, and except for the first time, when I didn't know the goons would respawn and join the fight, I had no problems really. I thought it was a really hard section after the first attempt. The game even tells you at one point to do a beatdown on him, then get away quickly for another attempt, or something like that. I discovered on my 2nd playthrough that I could do successive beatdowns without having to "get away". It was that 2nd time that I learned which end of the room they would come from and figured out how to start the takedown/beatdown cycle on him away from that end of the room. Maybe MY game is the one that's bugged, because it seems way too easy now.
More goons show up because it is in the code. Take them all out, attack Deadshot, spawns more.
I missed a Worst Nightmare challenge bcz last thug just got up and stood still on 1st Joker Encounter. The problem might be in the map as well

Yeah, I figured that out. But the problem is I have a glitch where the old ones spawn in as well as the new ones, and when they do - they spawn in a circle around Batman, who can no longer move, and then they all instantly blam him to death.

It's like how in Arkham City, when you're playing as Catwoman and you have to fight Two Face, his goons respawn. Except Deadshot was easy.

This is noticeably different with the zombie-rising, dead-walking corpses traipsing about the room. And it sounds like Plague Doctor really had a doozy.
OOPS I am correcting my earlier post where I stated that Deadshot was the toughest opponent, I was actually referring to DeathStroke not Deadshot. Sorry for my mistake!
I finally got the bastard, though it was hard. I just had to do my best to wait for him to climb up to a level goons weren't on, beatdown him briefly until he took the hostage and on that one I just needed to jump down and silent takedown and after that all the goons despawned. I also had to use a controller instead, if I mashed the escape button on a controller instead of on the keyboard I would grapple away when the goons would respawn around me. For some reason it just wouldn't do that if I used the keyboard/mouse controls. I still wanna know WTF was going on though
