2 quick hits with my batarang and I should quit this game

You have got to be kidding me! Do you really need to put this garbage in the game? I just spent 20 minutes throwing the Batarang at the two door switches and it never opened. (it's at the beginning of the game, 10 minutes or so in.)

What if I never start the game again, just assuming that after 20 minutes on Normal mode of throwing the batarang to no avail that there is no point of playing any further?

Learn 2 quick fire batarangs.
Learn 2 read control layout map.

You need to quick fire the batarangs by rapidly pressing the 1 key.

At that rate, you'll complete the game.....welllllll, never. :-) We'll be enjoying Batman: Arkham Infinity and you'll be trying to lay explosive gel in the middle of melee without using quick-fire.

You can't give up now. You might want to go back and play Arkham Asylum and Arkham City to learn the ropes though. You have to have ESP to jump right into Origins.

Old Arkhamites know that two or more switches in close proximity immediately means quick throw batarangs. A tutorial isn't needed - but it's given, as a consideration, for the baby-Bats. ;]
