Anarchy Bombs: How Do You Locate Them?

How do you locate the bombs Anarchy has set up? I'm doing this for the first time during New Game Plus. I just talked to my first anarchy guy and the timer has started but nothing shows up with detective mode enabled. How do you find them? Are there clues?

Also, if I fail at the bomb will the mission reset later or is it done for good?

A marker should show on your minimap so you know which direction to go. If you open the full map, there will also be a marker showing the exact location.
