Why I can't lower the lift to blow the wall and destroy the jammer?

I didn't knew what to do so I watched a video and when Batman gets on the lift there's a option to lower it, but it doesn't appear to me

Power up the lift with Shock Gloves. If you don't have these, keep playing.
