Am i the only one who enjoyed this more than City?
I personally found my enjoyment in this series ordered like this:
Asylum
Origins
City

Am i really the only one?

I wouldn't say that I enjoyed it MORE, but I certainly enjoyed it every bit as much. Both games have their ups and downs. Origins has it's issues, but so did City.

City was a year or so ago so maybe it's my hazy memory (even though i like asylum more which was many years ago) however i like how in origins it feels as if they try to question why batman does what he does, the more emotional and moral reasons as to why he does it all and it makes him look bad - which in a way he is and shows batman is technically in a moral grey area.

Where i never felt like that in city, i felt like batman was posed a super hero and the whole game felt less intelligent but as i said it was a long time ago and memories are altered over time.

Though i will admit i feel like there is very little area variation so far through my experience of origins.

I prefer City over Origins but I prefer Origins over Asylum. Arkham Origins was an underrated game in my opinion, if it had a better story and wasn't as buggy I could have seen it win a GOTY

Nah ur not alone I find it far better too (even if city is very good). Better graphic style, better story, music, voices, cutscenes, boss fight (deathstroke !!), muliplayer, etc. Origins is perfect game, even if lot of elements were present in City.

For me Cities is better just cause it wasn't half baked like Origins was. Then Origins has the Season Pass with little to no content in it. I'm just glad I got the game on a sale or I'd have been really ripped off.

The boss fights in Origins are also rediculously hard which is both good & bad because it is very Batman to have him fight OP enemies along with a bunch of minions but at the same time it's incredibly frustrating.

Origins still also has annoying glitches that break the flow of the game like the 2x enemy speed where they attack insanely quickly, or where you can't interrogate someone you need to during a mission & Killer Croc can still bug out and start flashing invisible during the fight. It's all just very unpolished & feels rushed overall. Like they didn't give a crap what Q/A said because not enough people who bought the game would complain about it so they didn't bother fixing it.

I've enjoyed the entire series but what surprised me is how good Origins is considering the bad reputation the game has. It's a very good game and it even did one or two things better than Rocksteady's games.

One thing i do dislike though is how the detective mode is essentially "Press A Here" repeatedly.
I would like to be able to take my own initiative in completing some of these rather than being handed everything and it essentially being an interactive cut-scene.

origins is a mod of city, but with a great argument.

City was much more polished and in a better overall package, I think. So far for me, what I love about this is the tone, the timeline in Gotham, the new voice actor really blew me away even though Conroy has always been the best. What else, it's just a great 'earlier' Batman story compared to the others... the way they set him up as more inexperienced, and in the 'moral grey area' as others have said.

When I first played nearly a year ago I weren't much impressed by it but I started playing it ago this week after playing through AC again & I have to say I have been enjoying it more, not to say it better, their both good in their own ways. Origins isn't as polished & getting round the city & areas can be pain sometimes but story & side missions wise I've been enjoying it.

I think with AC I knew kind of what were coming & it were quite straight forward, leading me onto the last & final chapter, Arkham Knight which I'm really looking forward to & is sure to be amazing balls!

I liked it more than City as well. AC felt disjointed and overwhelming, whereas AO's narrative flows much better and it pulled back on some of AC's indulgences. AO also had an ARC in its narrative, something AA and AC never had. AA is still my favorite, but AO comes very close. Also, the soundtrack blows away the last two games. Joker's theme anyone? :-)

Origins is just nuts. There is very little merit to it. No options with single minded click clickity click. The electrocutioner was bad, deathstroke is really bad, now I am stuck with mad hatter with no controls at all, just walk from death to death to death to death.... Consoles may not have any idea what a good game is, this is so bad not worth any kind of money. Story about ruined Christmas Eve is more than lame, it is mindless. Nothing comes close to the detective Batman was.

What does this even mean?

The electrocutioner was bad

Are you being funny, or did you really just totally not get that bit?

I just played all 3 (in the process of finishing origins) Personally i think origins is the best so far. The bosses are more fun and unique. And graphically its superior DX11 features are nice. ARKHAM Knight just looks freaking badass and will be GOTY for sure!
