Dude , was just looking through your library and you have some serious hours put in your games! WTF!!!
^^ suspension of disbelief required. (Though if it WOULD work, the holes would absolutely affect the glide rates expotentially, something that just does not happen in the game).
Just chalk it up to an artistic choice and don't think more about it.
If you watched the christian bale movies the way his cape works is described as memory cloth that takes its shape from a specific electric charge from his gloves. So basically, even if its full of holes it will take the same shape so I imagine you could still glide with it.
Also its a ficitonal character... but this is what I use to make it believable lol.
I actually tried doing this during the story mode but I guess because its story mode you can't. Looks like they wanted to give him that rugged worn out look during cutscenes and whatnot.
