The release order was Asylum, City, Origins, but it doesn't really matter which ones you play first. Check their respective forums and reviews to make a decision. I've read that Origins is buggy, but I haven't tried it.
It's best to play Asylum first for gameplay reasons. I'd suggest playing in release order anyway
all 3 games have their issues. There's a few in Origins that never really got properly fixed, but there are workarounds.
So overall
Origins effects, good story ,average gameplay
City great for free roaming, open world, and good gameplay.
Asylum very atmospheric, smaller world and story but a good intro to batman games.
2) Batman Arkham City GOTY +Cat Woman
3) Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition
City is 2nd
Origins is very buggy so maybe buy it but only with the knowledge that its possible you cant play it proper. It took me half a year to workaround most of the bugs...
fighting part is pretty bad story is ok
So my persnoal advice let origins out
wait for Arkham knight.
If you're having difficulty with Deathstroke, then I'm sorry to say this, but you plainly suck at the game.
This is the "gameplay reasons" I mentioned.
This is a common complaint from button mashers. This fight is all about timing.
Oh please, that is patently untrue. AO's graphics are are part with or slightly better than AC's.
What? Are you talking about the Ground Pound Takedown? It works exactly the same, but the animation is not interupptable, which is, afaik, how it was intended to work in the first place (though don't hold me to that, it's just my opinion) .
It does make it more risky to use, but then it's you that needs to learn the correct circumstsances in which to use it.
Huh? What are you talking about?? Right click to "strangle" ??
Please do. But I don't think you really could, or you would have.
Yah i've heard numerous people make the same complaint, and frankly, my response to it is still the same - this is a failure on your part to not adjust to the differences, not on the game for not being EXACTLY the same as AC, though the combat is, for the most part, mostly unchanged.
