So who else had this as their Christmas game?

The player count spiked this month so I can't be the only one xD

Despite the jank (compared to the other Arkham games) and the extreme caution required not to miss some achievements, after finishing it yesterday I think this game is massively underappreciated. Also Super Venom Bane was scary af and very well realised. xD

I initially played it some years ago during Christmas. That was not planned, but ist was a nice surprise... ;)
Not sure if this is not turning into a bit of a strange urban myth, how badly underappreciated this games was and is. Some worship it, some love it, some like it, some don't like it and some hate it. I think that's pretty normal for any game - and if I look back at the critical reception summary over at Wikipedia I don't find anything there that would be totally wrong or spitefully unfair...

So maybe that's why this game had a recent jump in concurrent player count recently?
It absolutely nails that Christmas vibe so well it makes for the perfect kind of game to play at this time of year.

Yeah exactly, the 90% discount also probably convinced a lot of people that were on the fence about from what they'd heard.

i had a start up problem with this game, it kept crashing when i click play, it said starting then goes back to play, any way to fix this?

Absolutely a blast every time I played. I kind of appreciate the "fandom" that has spent 12 years bashing this game, sometimes it's nice to enjoy an under-appreciated gem alone and without the counterstrike crowd

Not sure how that is possible. I mean all leading (and relevant) authorities around say it's the bestestest Arkham game ever. ;)

This was a good Christmas gift back in the day, and I'm glad it's on Steam, so I don't have to drag my PS3 out. This game really hyped me up for Arkham Knight.
