The Cold Cold Heart DLC is absolutely worth your time and money. If not for the new story, the gameplay itself is pretty cool (pun entirely intended) and the final boss was a real highlight for me in this expansion, even adding a bit of backstory to Mr. Freeze. I also liked the part at the beginning where you play as Bruce Wayne before he dresses up in his Batman suit.

Additionally, you need the Cold Cold Heart DLC if you plan on getting all the achievements for this game.

Technically it's a new, self-contained story - so by skipping you would not really miss anythring relevant to vanilla Origins or any of the other games in the series. But I fully agree with NBOX21: it's a great DLC, well worth playing! :)

not imo. it wasn’t really memorable. i think the mr freeze DLC in arkham knight is much better

It's a fun follow up to the main story, takes place on New Years Eve and honestly the Mr Freeze fight was more memorable than some of the bosses in the main game

It's basically a video game retelling of "Heart of Ice" from BTAS - which is considered one of the best episodes of the series. And the new icy look with the frozen Pioneer's bridge looks phantastic. The atmosphere and mood in the Gothcorp building with the creacing ice sounds is some of the best in the whole Arkham series. As far as I am concerned this is Origins at it's best. And another excuse to spend more quality time in Gotham City, just in case you haven't got enough already. ;)
