Small bane in GPCD?

Hi,
It seems like I had a fight with Bane in the first mission in the GPCD but it didn't feel like a boss, but more like a normal henchman...
After getting the disruptor, I follow the route up to the central prison again where a lot of henchmen where freed and wanted a fight. One of them look like Bane (mask, clothes, venom tubes...) but it didn't feel like a boss. He was the same height as any henchmen, was not difficult to beat and could be put to the ground and knocked down as any other goon. However he did have unstoppable attack (red warning rather than blue) and some of batman moves removed a couple of his venom tube! I thiught maybe batman will mention something about it once the fight was done but no...

Was this a bug or will it be explained later on in the story?

It´s not Bane, just a regular thug called Mercenary with Venom or somewhat. There´s not much story explanation for them, they´re just Bane´s followers that has been exposed to the Venom as well.

Known as "Venom User" in universe. you should have unlocked some training about them when you encounted them the first time.

actualy you fight Bane in a hotel later on in the story-
Im now at the point, well i was before my savegame issue took place:)
Sorry for asking but do anyone else got the problem with the batarangs after the DLC uploads?
I cant throw batarangs anymore- there is only a light wich explodes when i try to throw one.
I also have a screenshot of it... reediting this post when ive found it:)

He is not mercenary. He can be any gang member, just addict to Venom.

Venom's not exactly easy to obtain, though, as far as I know. At least not for the average street tough.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that guy, along with other Venom Thug's you ecounter later on, are member's of Bane's mercenary force. I think that one actually says something that indicates as much if you pay attention to his dialouge before the breakout. (He has the accent, too, I think?)

Well, I play the game in spanish language. He´s named "Mercenario con veneno", that´s why I didn´t know how was him called in english. But you´re right, he isn´t actually a mercenary, it´s a wrong spanish misstranslation.

Like I said before, I'm almost certain that is in fact one of Bane's men who got caught and locked up. Honestly, if his name is "Mercenario con veneno" in Spanish you should be even more certain than we are, here I think they're just called Venom Thugs. I like that those thugs are in it, it helps show that not only is Venom not something exclusive to Bane, but it helps show just how dangerous it is, and how much worse Titan would be in comparision.

The spanish translation got alot of things wrong, they translated some lines LITERALLY from english to spanish and they make 0 sense within the actual context, it really got on my nerves to be honest.
