Can't Beat Mad Hatter......

I'm at the end where he has alice held hostage and I can't throw the remote batarang.

I tried M&K after my 360 controller wouldn't let me throw it.

Is there a way I can get out of this. I read that the bird mission bug was fixed so I'm trying to complete a new game plus and the mad hatter bug didn't happen my first playthrough.

IIRC you need to use a reverse batarang. On the 360 controller you have to hold RB to charge it.

Finally got this after trying all 3 mouse buttons, most certainly not what it tells you to do.

It be prompting on screen telling you exactly what you need to do, which is to press and hold Right mouse, then press and hold some other button (it's Q in my configuration) and release to throw.
