Black screen and freeze

I recently bought and installed this game and every time i run it, logo pops out and after few seconds screen goes black and it freezes, and the only thing i can do is restart my PC. Help guys please

System specs?
OS and all drivers up to date?
Any other open running programs?

I figured out its not only something with intro movies. I set in steam to skip them, then i got frozen in another black screen with just sound, propably screen where you need to press something like enter to start. Windows 7 proffesional, i was installing drivers from steam files like direct x or net framework. Other programs don't make any diffrence running or not.

Problem solved. Just used direct 9 and worked :D

Find Batman: Arkham Origins in your Steam Library
Right-click the game name
Select Properties
Select Set Launch Options...
Input -d3d9
Press OK
Launch the game

wow direct 9 stil doestn worked for me or anything else anyone has mentioned..yes my comouter can run this i know cause i run BF$ and crysis 3 on max

i want my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ money back seriousy i want to play this game so bad but my screen just blacks out then nothing else just sound imn the background

try to open task manager when you see game logo so you will not get freeze because game will be in window not on full screen, you should be asked to allow the game access to some files etc. I'm not sure about it but it could help

in multiplayer change fullscreen to window then start single player
