Is Anarky the Arkham Knight?
It would make sense seeing as they're both characters made specifically for the Arkham games and Anarky's subplot in Origins feels to be setting up something greater. A significant amount of time will separate Origins and Arkham Knight leaving Anarky plenty of time to train and acquire equipment, and his motives in Origins would put him at odds with not only the criminals of Gotham, but also the dark knight himself, which would make for a pretty compelling story. Everything seems to add up, especially considering the low chances Rocksteady would create a new villain that turns out to be an already established character. That just doesn't seem like something they would do, or something WB would even LET them do.

Anyway, I hope I'm right because after the little diatribe Anarky gives Batman after being apprehended I honestly want to see a lot more of him. A villain who is only at odds with Batman because he does what Batman does and isn't Batman could make for some pretty interesting subject matter. After all, why should Batman be the only one fighting crime outside of the police force? Granted the bombs were extreme, but he was a kid. If he does end up being the Arkham Knight, he will have grown, both physically and, hopefully, mentally. Anyhoo, think about it, let me know if you think I'm right or wrong. :batarang:

I'm pretty sure somewhere I read that rocksteady won't consider Origins to be canon.

No... the 'Arkham Knight' is an origional creation made specifically for the game and approved by DC.

In other words, it won't be an already established character.

Anarky not made specifically for Arkham Origins, he was in comics from 1989.

Um Cole... no-one said Anarky was specifically made... We said Arkham Knight was.

Ah I'm sorry, I looked up Anarky and it said his first appearance was Origins but I guess that meant his first video game appearance. By my own logic of Arkham Knight not being an established character it probably won't be him, then. Well, there goes that idea.

Who could it be do you think?

Thats what I get for posting before the caffiene kicks in....

Personally, i'd have thought Deathstroke would have been a better fit for who the Arkham Knight could have been given that he's a, and I quote the game designers, 'Militarised version of Batman'.

I'd think however, the most likely subject would be someone asosiated with the league of assasins we've not met yet.

The only villain that was made for the arkham series is the Arkham knight. Anarky was in the comics.

Yes, that's been said a few times now...

So who do you think the Arkham Knight might be if not Anarky?
