EDIT: I was half expecting a reply from some smart*** saying that they beat him first time without even trying that hard!
One:- Get used to the quick-fire of the batclaw gadget for closing the gap between you and Deathstroke when he is far away from you. This will help you cover the distance and gives him a slight disorientation.
two:- When it comes to using the idicators above his head, there is a gradual increase in size and brightness of the indicator. Keep an eye out on it and try to judge your blocks for when his indicator is nearly at full size and brightness. Anytime before that will be judged as "the wrong timing" and therefore will give Deathstroke a hint as to when you're throwing your attacks. (The game gives this away very subtly in the quips that Deathstroke says)
three:- don't go out all blazing as Deathstroke is more a battle of counter, counter, hit, dodge. The timing is difficult to master but it's not as tough as Shiva later on in the game.
Four:- don't use trainers or other people's save games. The learning curve is worth paying attention to just for the sense of achievement. Deathstroke is meant to be an epic fight against someone at the peak of their game while you're using a Batman who is not at the Peak of his game. If you have difficulty with the Deathstorke fight you're in for trouble when you hit the later bosses. The bosses in this game are quite old school in the length of battles and knowing the games little hints on when to hit and when to counter/dodge. In all honesty, he's not the toughest boss of the game and if you're struggling with him you may find it difficult later on in the game to beat some of the other bosses.
Edit - one last tip - use a controller. this game is optimised for a controller as are most third person action games like this which are cross platform. Remember that being a PC player we have a larger array of HID's to choose from when it comes to controlling games like this. The Xbox 360 controller scheme for this game is actually quite good and logically set out and far easier than using a mouse and keyboard. You may sacrifice a little on how fast you can look about in the game but you'll gain in the attack and block side of things.
Don't cheat.
To me Bane was a lot harder, if I lose my rhytm he can still kick my a**.
Well, diffferent strokes for different folks. He kills me every time!
Lol! Excuses, excuses! My hand ain't broke and I'm still stuck on it. I'm using mouse and keyboard. Deathstroke is a **** and his repetitive taunting is starting to get on my nerves - BIG TIME! I just want to continue the game.
Gonna try that. I'll see what happens.
Tried that, but he just gets wise to it after a few goes. At least I'm getting to the part where he's using the sword almost every time now.
