problems with this game regarding killer croc

i just completed the first mission in this game. and boy, do i have problems with killer croc. why is he grey? that makes no sense. his face also looks like that one scene in teen titans go where robin takes off his mask. all they had to do was make the design like the one in asylum, but they made him grey??? also, the way he talks sounds like one of the mobsters but with a raspy voice. not only that, but him working for black mask seems way out of character for killer croc. in asylum, he is very non compliant, as seen in some of the interview tapes with him in the game. but here, hes just the big strong guy who does the dirty work for black mask. also, does it not feel like he got nerfed? I swear he was stronger than this. in asylum, people that talk about croc regard going to his lair a quick way to get yourself kiiled. oracle says that its a suicide mission, the henchmen around the door to killer crocs lair say that "anyone that goes in there doesnt come back out in one piece". The only things batman can do to croc is temporarily stun him, like with a batarang to his shock collar or dropping him down with explosive foam (ik its not called foam but i cant remember the name right off the top of my head). heck, its not like you fight back if caught by croc, you straight up just get a death animation. but in this game, a less experienced batman is able to take him down with relative ease. this is a prequel to asylum??? thats just my first impressions though. so far im enjoying the mechanics and the fighting so thats a plus.

All of this is plot related. I don't remember if we see any of it explicitly happen, but there are plausible explanations for how he bulked up and how he became more jaded against teamups, and it's possible a color change might be related.
