Yeah, it's a bit annoying. No way am I going to buy 2.5 hours of DLC for 4 times the price I payed for the base game.

I got lucky and bought mine in a WB sale for about $5 I think. Also, the pass and all the extra online DLC was handed out for free during the Arkham Knight issues along with all previous Arkham games. It does happen, but maybe don't hold your breath. If you look around right now you can find it for about $14 which is only a little less but better than $20.

i was wondering the same thing, im not buying the game until i know im getting the full package at a reasonable price
Weird... none of the DLC is on sale. You're aren't really missing out on anything except one new level. It's kinda weird just cause this brings the total cost to $25 and the total cost of Arkham Knight (which is infinitely better) is only $30 ($24 on bundle stars which is a licensed key seller).

I got Origins for dirt cheap during the last big sale, and I'd only consider getting the DLC if it were dirt cheaper.

No discounts at all here. Disappointing.

season pass has been 75% off on steam before, but its been a long time, not sure why they do lesser or no sales on it now when its even older

I am not fussed about the DLC but what does annoy me is the fact that often you cannot completely complete a game without it - as in you cannot get all acheivements.

I am currently doing Arkham City to full completion which means I have to do endless challenge and revenge maps for Robin, Nightwing and Catwoman. I'm guessing it would be the same for Origins?

Correct, although I think you only need to use Batman in Origins (I've never even looked at the Deathstroke ones - maybe one day). However, as a pointless addition, you need to complete all the custom maps also. In Arkham City they were just a bonus for fun, so making them a necessary completion when you can just, say, give yourself any combo of health/time bonuses just seems redundant...
