Game is stuck in controller mode. Can't use keyboard and mouse at all.
I'm really at the end of my rope with this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game, I've played it in the month of December leading up to Christmas every year since it's release and for -whatever- reason, this year, I guess it just doesn't want to work.

I've uninstalled the game and reinstalled it and nothing has worked. I load into the game, even previous saves, and the game think I'm using a controller. I can't use my mouse and keyboard at all. I don't know how to fix it and there doesn't seem to be any resolution online. I'm at a loss, and don't know what to do.

i had this problem aswell and this may work for you. I changed my settings (in the control section) to keyboard and mouse but then everything was changed to the middle mouse button so i just changed everything back to defalt and everything worked just fine after that. i hope this works for you have a great day :)

But how do you change the controls from one to another? When I go to settings and choose control type all it does is SHOW me what the buttons are for the 360 controller and below that an option for keyboard bindings. It's like its there just to show me what buttons do what between the controller and keyboard but it doesn't actually let me select between one or the other.

Can't you just unplug the controller...or disable it in the Windows device manager settings?

Do you actually have a controller connected? If so, disconnect it and restart the game.

Otherwise, delete the bminput.ini file which will reset controls to the default.
