Bug Preventing Progress with Bird Mission

I know exactly what the issue here is and have seen a couple forums with similar problems, but no actual solutions (at least any that have worked for me). After I finished the second gang fight doing the Bird missions there was no final enemy to interrogate. I tried restarting and everything but nothing worked, I eventually just gave up and went onto other things. I've no completed the base game and it's the one thing preventing progress. I can't get into My Alibi to get the last two datapacks and it also prevents other encounters from happening until you finish with Bird.

I realized this happened because I performed a combo finisher on what happened to be the last person which completely took them out without my being able to interrogate them. If I go back to the area nobody is there, but I can see the matchbook and bird cage on the detective scanner (doesn't help me at all though). Does anyone know a solution to this issue or know a way to possibly edit the .sgd save files to progress to the next objective? I've found the Bird objective in the save file, but the data around it was encrypted.

Try going back to the backcave and returning to where the fight was. In my game i remember I had to detain 20 escape prisoners at the end, and one of them I accidently took out like you did. So returning to the batcave and then going back into gotham, the group and the prisoner had respawned and was able to complete it.

Unfortunately I've gone back to the bat cave multiple times without any change to the issue. I think the game has my objective stuck somewhere in limbo between interrogating the last person and scanning stuff afterwards, so it won't respawn anyone.

Unfortunately, jetting to the Cave and back again won't reset that fight. You might have passed a downed but still conscious thug on the ground and not known it. I'm not certain if the thug's condition might loosely be related to the high res bug, not properly registering a takedown or a hit from overly high screen resolution. Review these Bird Bug topics:

Start making periodic backups of your .sgd save files. Your Remote folder is here:
Steam \ userdata \ Steam User Number \ 209000 \ remote

Reduce your screen resolution from maximum from inside the Graphic Options menu for improved object and proximity registration and to prevent bad checkpoints. Disable DX11 to prevent the unrecoverable freefall glitch in various locations:
1. Locate BmEngine.ini: Steam \ steamapps \ common \ Batman Arkham Origins \ SinglePlayer \ BMGame \ Config \ BmEngine.ini
2. Open BmEngine.ini with NotePad
3. Locate "AllowD3D10=False" and change False to True
4. Locate "AllowD3D11=True" and change True to False
5. Save file and restart computer

I just quit & loaded the last checkpoint. Had to re-fight the fight, but was able to interrogate the guy afterwards.

I assume there's still no fix for this bug? Stuck on second fight, no one there, only monolog from Bats.

Yeah had the same issue on my game save and all the threads I’ve read don’t work. Would be good to know any solutions that would work.
