Cryptographic Sequencer

Hey,


I can't see the sequencer when using it. managed to get past the first door by blindingly pressing buttons but it's annoying as hell.

Is this a known glitch? Any fix?

Sounds pretty rare to me. Do the following in separate stages so you know what did or didn't work. Are you running with your screen resolution cranked to maximum? If so, reduce it from inside the Graphic Option menu. This game was pre-4K; reducing screen res improves object and texure registration and fixes a multitude of interactive proximity problems. Restart the game.

Failing that, you might try disabling DX11 and or PhysX. Again, do these in separate stages.

Disable DX11:
1. Locate BmEngine.ini: Steam \ steamapps \ common \ Batman Arkham Origins \ SinglePlayer \ BMGame \ Config \ BmEngine.ini
2. Open BmEngine.ini with NotePad
3. Locate "AllowD3D10=False" and change False to True
4. Locate "AllowD3D11=True" and change True to False
5. Save file and restart computer

PhysX can be disabled from within the game's Graphic Options menu. Let us know your results.

Hey,

My screen isn't 4K so we can skip that step.

The graphics look just fine. They don't glitch, I just see Batman kneeling down and the top of his head, as if I'm staring from his right side.

I just started the game again to take a screenshot to show you and now it's working fine. I didn't change anything, go figure.

Sometimes just a restart will fix clipped textures. Enjoy.

I know this was about a month ago, but I just experienced this in my game. Never saw it before. But I know what caused it, for me anyway. I was just too close to the panel. There's an invisible "wall" that pushes the pov up really close to the hacking graphic, and if I quit out of it and backed up a few steps, it worked fine.

Not sure if that's what happened to you, Dumonster, but it might be worth trying to see if you can reproduce the effect, just to confirm it's a placement problem and not a texture problem.

And.. it has only happened in the one tower that I have encountered.. just can't remember which one now.. :-(

I thought he was describing a hacking target mislock or proximity bug, but now I know what he's talking about. Sometimes depending on graphics or drivers, things just go missing in the game.
