Game still Buggy in 2019 ?
i expected them to fix most of the bugs by now but iam still facing the bugs i faced years ago

* game crash during killer croc fight
* killer croc blinking / flashing
* gliding bug where batman starts dancing in the air
* awkward camera after certain situations
* dialogue cut off in the middle during a side mission

and many more.

is this surprising or they never made this game as polished as previous ones ?
or is the steam version broken ?

Yeah, I experienced all of the above. Also have had an occasional audio bug where the sound just stops working. Triggering a cutscene (like fast-traveling) usually fixes it.

The bugs are annoying, sure, but none of them are game-breaking in the sense that it makes it impossible to complete the game. On the plus side, this is arguably the best-optimized Batman game after Asylum - very easy to crank up the visual goodness, even on old hardware.

When was the last time you experienced any of these bugs ?

yup none of the bugs are game breaking, i just expected them to be gone by now because i havent heard people playing the game, talking about the bugs in recent years.

I just finished replaying the main campaign yesterday. They're all still there.

Never encountered any of those on my original playthrough except the occasional dialogue cutoff. And I've just finished NG+ a few weeks ago on an entirely different pc. Hit occasional failure to trigger bugs but they were fixed by restarting the checkpoint.

the bugs just make it even more french.

Found two at the very end after finishing the story - Riddler Data Handler on Pioneer Bridge and Suspect that killed victim with heavy object couldn't be interrogated. Multiple reloads didn't fix, but restarting the game did. I think I'll stop with the base game now since I just beat it. I already beat Freeze in Arkham City.

Acezriel, don't restart from checkpoint to fix those bugs. Instead return to the BatCave to reset previous checkpoint behaviors. The problem with those areas directly after the Blackgate finale transition seems to be that Batman still thinks he's inside, still exhibiting indoor behavior. You didn't actually traverse to outdoors, there was merely a credit cutscene. This becomes apparent when you can't keep a combo or interrogate outdoor suspects. Returning to the BatCave resets environment behavior to normal. Doesn't happen with the other Arkham games.
