So shortly after leaving the hotel, I went back in to get the Riddler packs. However, now I can't get out. The door is locked and I can't find out how to leave.

I managed to get back to the place where you get the gloves from The Electrocutioner but the elevator won't let me back in.

Do the following in separate stages instead of all at once so you know what did or didn't work.

First try lowering your screen resolution if it's maxed out from inside the Graphic Options menu. There's known issues with highest screen resolution and interactive events, collision objects and texture registration.

Try disabling DX11:
1. Locate BmEngine.ini, typically located here: Steam \ steamapps \ common \ Batman Arkham Origins \ SinglePlayer \ BMGame \ Config \ BmEngine.ini
2. Open BmEngine.ini with NotePad
3. Locate "AllowD3D10=False" and change False to True
4. Locate "AllowD3D11=True" and change True to False
5. Save file and restart computer

If that doesn't work try disabling PhysX from inside the Graphic Options menu.

Thank you, I'll try it when I get the chance. So to make sure we're on the same page, I am supposed to be able to leave via the elevator (that isn't highligthed orange) that you came up into the room where you get the electric gloves from The Electrocutioner?

The exit is directly above you. You entered the lobby via the upper level.

Oh my gosh. Having a horrible sense of direction is aweful. Thank you, it has taken me an hour and a half to try to get out, going back and fourth. I even saw that door flying around but it didn't look orange from where I was. It is pretty hillarious, though.

The link comes up blank and I did look before posting. Everyone I saw kept saying backtrack to the start which I did or were talking about being stuck in the carnival.

Odd I couldn't find any of these so-called billions of threads before when I was looking, and you didn't make a typo, at the end of the link it says deleted. Either way, I already got an answer so there's no reason to be wasting anymore time.
