Dark Atlas: Infernum Demo accessibility review
I just recently discovered this game, I've never seen a video of it or heard of it before
I was browsing the activities section on Steam and saw that a friend of mine was playing this game, so I started looking into its accessibility

I read on the Can I Play That site that this game would include various accessibility features and that the demo had some of them, so I downloaded the demo and started playing.

The game is a horror game with a first-person perspective. As Natalia Asensio, we wake up in the Vigilant Angel and try to get out. On our way there are puzzles to solve and audio recordings to find. Of course, we are accompanied by an eerie voice that we constantly hear.

Here are the accessibility features available in the demo: Audio Description, Screen Narrator, Image adjustment, (I forget the name but I remember there was something about fobia)
Subtitles and Speed adjustment for enemies. There's also a guided movement mode

When you activate the guided movement mode, all the rooms you need to go to, notes you need to read, and so on are listed as if it were a Point and Click game. This way you can go to the places listed, read notes and interact with interactive objects. This way, other visually impaired players like me can find their way around without getting lost. It's great that a developer thought of us and added such a feature to the game.

The Screen Narrator feature allows us to read menus, items, missions and similar content in the game. The Audio Description feature works in conjunction with the Screen Narrator to describe what's happening in the room we're in and how it looks.

I haven't tried the visual accessibility option, but it probably works.
I didn't get to try the enemy feature, because in the demo we mostly solved puzzles. We don't encounter an enemy. I will try this setting in the full game. Note: The developers said that there were enemies in the demo, but when you activate the guided movement mode, the enemies are disabled as it switches to Point and Click. They said they will try to fix this in the full game.

Despite being independent developers, the developers have shown that they can make a very good game. I also liked the fact that they thought about visually impaired gamers despite being an indie developer. I am looking forward to the full game.
