Worth it?

Is the game just a visual novel disguised as an investigation game? Or do we actually investigate and have difficulty solving each case?

You have to do some investigation stuff but it's pretty straightforward, from what I've played so far you can't really fail and you can get the solution pretty easily

Nope; if you've plaed Ace Attoney Investigations, it's basically a simplified version of those segments where you walked around examining everything and talking to people.

It's good to get a straightforward detective story from the Japanese, but not sure its worth the money, though. Recent Spike Chunsoft games were very underwhelming and lacked identity.
