Trouble unlocking the Elemental suit
The closest I get is using Perfected suit to power-level fire, but it falls off really hard at the end of the run. I feel like I'm missing something. What did everyone else do to unlock it?

i'm thinking it has to be optimized suit with flamethrower, plasma globe, firelighter, and electric eel.

to be clear, this is one i've had trouble unlocking. it seems to me that knockback becomes necessary, and only the plasma globe has appreciable knockback. the thing is plasma globe damage and cooldown kinda sucks.
Cooldown is the general issue I have. Powerleveling Globe actually does okay damage eventually but it gets swarmed later because of the long cooldown. Flamethrower carries early but cannot keep up with damage. Bow does about the same, but you are also at the whim of autoaim. We don't even need to talk about the snow globe, it's just the plasma globe but worse. I'm debating doing a run with 1 or 2 items and elemental crystal? I wanna try that next time, but I'll gladly eat my words if you figure it out.
I managed to complete it with the Perfected Suit. I'm going to outline what I did for anybody else who needs help.

I personally used the Perfected suit with the Hunter's Bow. There's some moving parts in the loadout that I would prefer. Using Drills is extremely important to this build, and you want to take projectile speed every time . Because of this, I would also suggest some rerolls. Crits are important because you need all the damage you can get with this build, and the bow starts to hit pretty fast. Finally, I personally would take some experience and Black Hole items. Namely, I used Solenoid Infusion and Dial tone to help get all XP with Perfected, Shocking Results to save you time resetting for bow, then Scavenger and Not My Problem for extra rolls just in case. Finally, take Salt the Wound. The rest is up to you. I personally did it with 28 skill points and had enough for spare skills.

Next, it is important to know how the bow really works. The arrows will go to the closest enemy to your mouse cursor. This means if you want to sweep many enemies, you want your cursor IN FRONT of where you want the arrow to go, NOT on an enemy. Similarly, If you want to target one enemy like a boss or rainbow enemy, place your cursor directly on them. Because of this, Bow has the flexibility to CC and do single target damage (poorly).

As you level up bow, each level will increase damage by 1 and projectile lifespan by 10 frames. This is important because you fire a projectile every 2 seconds, or 120 frames. Because of this, leveling just the bow will cause more than one arrow to be on the screen at once, essentially removing its weakness as a weapon with static cooldown.

Finally, in order to bolster your single-target damage, the drills need to do some heavy lifting. By increasing projectile speed, it makes the arrows loop through the target faster, giving more ticks, more chances for poison, and more crit chances.

I got it in one try, but do be careful, the run is not as free as other Perfected suit runs. Good luck. :)
