Bit of an issue with "unlocking" debug mode

My f1 key, for some reason, is not working as it should. As simple as people said it was and all it just doesn't want to unlock the debug mode for the achievement and all, anyone got a solution or another way of getting debug up?

You're hitting tab+F1 right? Just hitting F1 won't do anything. Finishing the game may also be a requirement. I got it by hitting tab + F1 after beating Picayune but before going to earth / starting endless mode.
If your F1 key isn't working get a new keyboard or map a custom key as F1.

Thank you kindly for the reply, I'll try to map the f1 key to another key and see if it works out that way since I already beat the game once and stuff, maybe it's a thing about not having an english keyboard? (I'm Spanish)
