Dodging primal death attacks

SO, I just beat primal death on Cinder 16 but took the most hits out of any boss. I noticed that some of the laser attacks filled the whole screen and wondered if it's even possible to dodge all of his attacks or some are just there to test your endurance. On a couple room filling attacks there may have been the slightest sliver of room but maybe I was imagining it. Then they kinda hang around beyond dodge i-frames (as far as I can tell)

If anyone knows for sure it would be much appreciated. I've been playing this game for ages but beyond class unlocks etc I guess I never noticed how hard primal death can be till now. I think I've just brute forced my way through previously.

I know the exact attack you're talking about, it hits the entire room except a sliver of the room on the opposite side of your current location - either the center of the left or right side of the map. Your best bet is to dodge directly though the boss to get there, but taking the hit isn't that bad
