Report a translation problem
The issue with your statement is when you say "those aren't easter eggs". This is blatantly false as it LITERALLY fits into the definition of the word. That would LITERALLY be like you saying "this isn't a video game", when objectively it is a video game. You might not agree with how the artist made his art, but to say something isn't what it objectively is, is pretty stupid.
One: is this plagiarism? No it is not, and we discussed above why it isn't.
Two: do you like what the author did with easter eggs/homages/whatchamacallits? This is the realm of opinions, and everyone is free to have one. Debating it, as if one opinion is worth more than the next, usually nets you nothing but frustration. You do you tho ;)
