A better solution is removing exploits from the game.
You can literally say this to any complaint of a game being too easy or exploitable in some way. Weapons poorly balanced? Just don't use the OP ones. Pokemon too strong? Just ban them from your runs. Final Boss too easy? Unbind your dash key. It's the dev's job to patch in and out things based on how they impact game health. It's our job to use all the tools we are given to maximize our runs. I'm even hesitant to call this an exploit because I don't believe it's using any game mechanics in an unintended way, although I am curious if bulk seller is supposed to keep its stacks overnight as it currently does.
If you like doing this strat, it's fun and should be kept. If you don't like doing it, do a more fun strat. Easy.
This one ain't even that hard ngl. As for the actual issue, I agree, but don't have any good ideas on how to do it.
Have staying at the inn reset the sell chain bonus?
Otherwise it’s a very minor issue, or arguably not one at all. It’s a lot of bonfire points for a combo that only goes off rarely. OP threw away a bunch of perfectly good runs chasing a cheese strat.
In other words: "♥♥♥♥ you, got mine."
"almost infinitely" is not "infinitely".
Besides, you already probably won after one or two extra rounds of black market anyway.
I agree that this would be the best solution. Also, I have never used this strat and walked away with without at least +500 gold and like 3 levels, as well as multiple strong charms. Given that it seems like black markets spawn in taverns like 10-20% of the time, That's a lot of runs that just get hard carried by doing this.
