It won't work with bibles/sustained beams but it should cast most projectile magic weapons
I did this the first time and couldn't figure out why it wasn't working. It seemed logical to me that you sacrifice your offhand slot to autocast.
I did the same thing the entire beta. In fact this thread is how I'm learning how it's supposed to work, I just stopped taking it when I couldn't figure out why it wasn't working lmao

at first i was confused on how people were misreading the trait, but now im doubting myself now
i am suposed to place the weapon i want the trait to trigger damage on the first open slot that i can activate/swap pressing the default key 1 on keyboard, yes?
That was indeed what I misread. Thanks for explaining it properly for me!
I guess it's a quite optimistic ability, because other than companions, i think it's the only ability that works of things in your inventory? Looking forward to more like it in the next update after i complete the last 2-3 achievements!
