This game used to be fun
Before the patch, I could consistently reach Death/Mega Death with all the classes without any issues. Now, I can barely reach level 8, can't even think about how the cinder levels would feel like.
All the new traits feel much less impactful, and most of the weapons hit like wet noodles.

What are you having issues with? I’m on one of my last cinder 16 runs with Samurai and maxed my paragon. I’ve got a consistent strategy down as far as making sure a run gets cleared.

Maxed Paragon ? Is the max 100 ? I'm on like 72

man, i just beat game with combo damage of mixed elements, i literally obliterate every boss, cant even see someone attack pattern. its like Isaac, sometimes synergy clicks, sometimes dont, i dont think its issue of game.

Yeah, some runs can be a slog that is destined to fail, others, can't even tell what's happening on the screen due to how much stuff you're throwing out but you know all the enemies are dying.

Best example for me was a magical chakram that shot out laser beams as it reached the end of it's range and when it returned to you, with enough attack speed, you will struggle to see what's going on, but man, it deletes bosses.

I think, the most changing is no more scaling on health or stamina. no more easy win with tanking damage or dashing spam, need to learn pattern and use dashing on right spot.

but after some run, most annoying thing is bringing pet mechanic on pool. make harder to build synergy and has less impact. lol

I think that’s it. People just too used to eating damage and spamming dash as a strategy.

I agree that certain companions aren’t nearly as effective with a 5 percent atta k speed buff as say, the dire wolf that gives a flat 20 percent damage increase that can go all the way up to 80 with a trait.

Honestly the reduced health pool wouldn't bother me if it weren't for the drastically reduced damage as well. Right now, it's a long slog to kill bosses and the health pool means that long slog has to have perfect execution as well, which is not a great combination.
Reading the comments I almost wonder if there's a damage bug affecting some people and not others. The damage output is just so much lower that it feels impossible to overlook.
