Controller support?

Just got the game, not sure how to get the controller working. Unless there's no controller support :(

No native controller support yet. If you use a mainstream type of controller, or one that emulates them (PS, Xbox, ect) I have uploaded a control scheme that works pretty dang well with those sorts of controllers. :D If you have any questions about how to use the layout let me know. (underneath where you click play there is a "Controller Layout" option, what you need is in there}

Were you surprised by the amount of people wanting controller support? Controller support was very low priority before. :D Which, honestly because of Steam's ability to map M/KB to controller, almost don't even need it native except for menuing and even that isn't a huge deal. I guess not everyone is computer literate enough to navigate these menus and figure out how to set it up though. Which is fine.

I guess it is just low prio for me because I play nothing with controller. I come more from the Path of Exile / Diablo side of gaming and less from the console type of gaming.

I prefer to play those games with controller. haha. I suffer from carpal tunnel, any kind of extended mouse usage and my wrist and hand start paining and going numb. I can't remember the last game I played with mouse and keyboard, even though 99% of what I play is on the PC.

I really love controller for any game that can use it personally. very glad to hear it's coming within a few weeks I may just hold off on playing until that feature is implemented

EDIT: I am working a job on the side and I released a game with 40 hours + of playtime for 5 bucks. Sorry but controller andies are getting a bit annoying. I stated I am going to add controller support. Nobody forces you to buy the game until it has controller support. It's early access, so chill out.

How dare you not implement controller support 2 weeks and 1 hour after you said 2-3 weeks!

Seriously though, try not to let them get to you, there will always be complaining andies about one thing or another. The update is great, game is a bit harder for me, which I like. Keep up the good work!

Thanks a lot. I take stuff like this way too serious... It is hard to be suddenly in a position of getting hundreds of messages a day. Positive messages mean a lot, you're doing gods work!

Wow the animosity is a bit unwarranted. Yeah I’d refund the game now if I didn’t play 4 hours. I literally only said it didn’t happen and asked when an update would be next. I don’t need to chill out, you man babies do. Get some help
