Women in Apotheon

Why do the women in apotheon have a black 'skin' rather than the white found on pottery? loving the game so far but I get slightly annoyed everytime I see a woman/godess XD

There are amphoras where both male and female are represented in the same colour be it black or white, not saying this is the reason but its not totally inaccurate.

This is mostly due to the interchangeability in character skins. Both males and females use a lot of the same artwork, and so making all the females cream-coloured was unfeesable from an art production standpoint. It's definitely something I tried to do earlier in development.
All the ladies on the menu crawl are cream-coloured.
